About Us

The company "Węgiel" was founded 1964 and since begin of the activity produces wooden games of highest class. There are chess (presently in over 50 arts), draughts and backgammon in many dimensions and colours.

A specially position in the production are chess sets for professional chess players. The chess equpment from the company "Węgiel" was and are used on many prestigues chess tournaments on the world and on many chess championsships, among others Garri Casparov did use these chess sets.

The company employs over 100 people and produces montly over 10 thousand of game sets. These products are exported around the world.
